Woman wanted to give birth to a Neaderthaler: Harvard Professor says: “Don’t be scared of the technology”

I have been arguing at length that modern science is too complex that we have to worry that single weired professors could create inpredicatable “Frankensteins”. But read today’s newspapers: Harvard Professor, geneticist Church is serious about having an “adventurous woman” give birth to a Neanderthaler. He has “understanding” for ethical issues involved, but as always, it will pay off for humanity! And after all, the Neanderthaler may well be more intelligent than the casual homo sapiens.
